Benjamin Kemker

Benjamin B. Kemker, Jr. is a 22-year veteran of the United States Army and the Tennessee Army National Guard, with service spanning from 2003 to the present. He served as an enlisted artilleryman for ten years, including two years as a dual-seated cadet. In 2012, he commissioned as an artillery officer after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Memphis.

His military career includes two combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, participation in a joint training exercise with the Army of the Republic of the Philippines, and service at a joint multinational training center in western Ukraine. He is currently serving as the Brigade Cyber Warfare Officer.

Captain Kemker is a recipient of the prestigious Order of Saint Barbara and is also an Eagle Scout. He is married and the proud father of two children, ages 11 and 14.
