Bobby A Johnson entered the United States Army on July 31, 1973 and retired on August 31, 1993. Bobby entered the Army as a 12A10 Combat Engineer and retired as a 12B40X. His duty assignments included Ft. Polk Louisiana, Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri, Ft. Campbell Kentucky, Schofield Barracks Hawaii, Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri, Berlin Germany (where he became eligible for VFW membership), Ft. Sheridan Illinois, Schweinfurt Germany, Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri where he retired from. 

Once retired from the Army Bobby settled down in Collierville Tennessee and in April 1994 he became a Police Officer and served for 25 years retiring in 2019. Bobby was married to Teresa A. Johnson (Savage) on July 28, 1973 and is still married today. He and Teresa have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Bobby joined the VFW in 1990 as a Life Member and served Post 10658 as Post Commander.
